International students who continuously study full time on campus for the majority of their courses and graduate may apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), which can be valid for up to three years and offers a path to permanent residency status in Canada. You may be able to substitute on-campus courses with online courses depending on availability; this is commonly done by students who want more flexibility in their class schedule.  However, for international students who would like to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada, at least 50% of total courses must continuously be taken on campus with full-time student status.
